Never did understand why Wetherspoons thought that was a good location for them. Went in a few times, was OK but really didn't feel much like most Spoons with the pool table etc. Having a derelict tower block outside probably didn't help attract the daytime families Spoons needs, either. Weavers Wharf would surely have suited them better, but maybe they tried and couldn't get anywhere.

I have good memories of travelling on hovercrafts from Ramsgate to Calais. The company was Hoverlloyd and I think the craft was called Christopher Wren? But not 100% sure! Always enjoyed crossing the channel on one and would definitely love to travel on again

It’s good to see Princess Anne Hovercraft has been preserved in a museum but it looks like it needs some maintenance to keep it looking like that for years to come. That will cost money though and time to restore it back to its former glory if that ever happens. It’s good to see the Rolls Royce logo proudly stuck on the hovercraft after building those powerful engines. Britain invented the Hovercraft but our military doesn’t have a large hovercraft like the Americans and Russians have. 🇬🇧

I saw the car in the pits afterwards, it blew the blower off the motor and there is a massive hole in the right side of the blower where the metal has just exploded

Excellent, thank you for the video, the sound is great and the classy crowd wasn't shouting as to not ruin the rumbling as it idled. Can you imagine lifting off in a P-51D mustang 80 years ago, heading across the channel into a hellscape, what bravery.
